Chère Chloé,

Déjà, cette surprise incroyable de recevoir les photos hier au réveil ! Fantastique, on ne s’est jamais levés aussi vite, trop d’excitation. C’était un moment de pur délice, ce genre d’instants suspendus où l’on a tout revécu de cette journée. Un shoot d’émotions intenses, on était émus, on a ri, j’en avais les larmes aux yeux, c’était complètement wahou…!

Tes photos sont bien au-delà de nos espérances, elles sont magnifiques, pleines de toute la joie et de l’émotion de cette journée. Quel plaisir de découvrir à travers tes yeux tous nos proches (tous tellement canons !), la déco, les petits instants magiques. Tu as su retranscrire, dans les photos de nous, les émotions que l’on traversait ce jour-là, et tout notre amour mutuel. On n’aurait pas pu rêver meilleure photographe.

Pour reprendre les mots de Léa lors de la cérémonie laïque, se plonger dans les photos que tu as prises ça fait comme le bruit des chips quand tu croques dedans, comme le pop d’un bouchon de champagne à l’ouverture de la bouteille, comme le son d’un volcan guatémaltèque en éruption…. C’est juste dingue !

Ce merci concerne aussi la façon dont tu as été auprès de nous le jour J, avec ta gentillesse, ta bienveillance, ton enthousiasme et ton professionnalisme. Ta présence chaleureuse et rassurante, aussi ; je me rappelle croiser ton regard à certains moments, voir ton sourire et me dire que tout se passait bien et que c’était super. 

Nous n’avions jamais été photographiés par un(e) photographe avant le mariage et nous nous sommes sentis totalement en confiance avec toi. De nombreux invités nous ont dit t’avoir trouvée super et ma famille t’a beaucoup appréciée.

First of all, what an incredible surprise it’s been receiving the photos as we woke up yesterday ! Fantastic, we’ve never got up so quickly, so excited. It was a pure moment of delight, this kind of suspended instants as we were re-living the day through and through. An intense shoot of emotions, we were so moved, we laughed, I was on the verge of crying, it was completely wow… !

Your photos go well beyond our expectations, they’re magnificent, filled with all the joy and emotions of the day. What a pleasure for us to discover all our closed-ones through your eyes (they’re all so gorgeous !), the decoration, all the small magical moments. You knew how to convey, in the photos you took of us, all the emotions we were going through during the day, and all the love we feel for each other. We couldn’t have dreamt of a better photographer.

To quote Léa during our ceremony : diving into the photos you took feels like the sound crisps make when you bite in them, like the « pop » of the cork when you open a bottle of champagne, like the noise of a guatemalan volcano erupting… It’s just crazy !

We also want to thank you for the way you’ve been with us on our D -Day : gentle, benevolent, enthusiastic and professional. Your warmth and comforting presence, too ; I remember meeting your eyes at some moments, seeing your smile and thinking that everything was going well, and that it was great.

We had never been photographed by a professional before the wedding, and we absolutely trusted you. A lot of guests told us that you were great and my family really liked you.
A deep thank you from the bottom of the heart for all this !
